LET THE SEASON BEGIN!!!!!!

Borrowing the Seattle Scooterist Happy Hour the day before the Sounders home opener.
In Soccer, diving is an attempt by a player to gain an unfair advantage by diving to the ground and possibly feigning an injury, to appear as if a foul has been committed.
Playboy describes a Dive Bar as: “A church for down-and-outers and those who romanticize them, a rare place where high and low rub elbows — bums and poets, thieves and slumming celebrities. It’s a place that wears its history proudly.”
For this night, we are hitting one of our favorite dive bars, The Waterwheel,  to celebrate the beginning of the Sounders season and a good prep for St. Patrick’s Day. Come by for Happy Hour drinks, have some of the best fried chicken in the city, a beer dog for a buck, and prepare yourself for Karaoke…10,000 songs to choose from!
Plenty of parking!

3attle SOUNDERS!

After a day to reflect, a day to savor, the feeling of a third US Open Cup is still on the fans minds.  First off, let me say it was one helluva match.   From start to finish it was go go go, attack, attack, attack, and why is the goal post wearing a Chicago Fire jersey and blocking our kicks?  Finally, in the 78th minute, our expectations were met and the entire crowd went mad with delight, relief, and pretty much orgasmed all over each other.  Soon after that, the Sounders attacked again, and the cheer that came from the crowd was deafening.  Alonso sealed the deal and our night was complete. HELL YA!
